WARRANTY… Gastineau Log Homes offers a lifetime warranty on all wood products it produces. A ten year warranty can be transferred to a subsequent buyer of the home.

SOLAR KILN DRIED LOGS... Our logs are kiln dried in environmentally friendly solar forced air kilns. This process dries to logs slowly over 4 to 5 months at lower temperatures to minimize checking and damage to the wood while provide more thorough drying to the middle of the log.
 
QUALITY ASSURANCE VISIT… One of our construction experts will visit your job site to ensure that your home is built in accordance with the GLH Construction Manual. We will also come to your home approximately six months after you have moved in to perform a Customer Satisfaction Visit.

CONSTRUCTION SEMINAR… A Friday and Saturday seminar is included free of charge for homebuyers and builders. We even have a Bar-B-Que on Friday evening!

CONSTRUCTION MANUAL & TECHNICAL SUPPORT… The most current edition are provided to all GLH customers. Includes all aspects of log home construction. Our toll free special customer support phone line is available to you or your builder throughout the construction process.

GRADED LOGS… Logs are graded in accordance with ASTM D3957. “Standard Methods for Establishing Stress Grades for Structural Members Used in Log Building. Graded logs are required by the International Residential Building Code used throughout the U.S."

LOGS AROUND THE SUBFLOOR… GLH provides two rows of logs to encircle, or go around, your subfloor. GLH is the only company to provide this structural improvement. We feel it is extremely important as it allows you to bolt the log wall to the concrete foundation, it is much more energy efficient, it provides higher seismic and high wind ratings, and it even looks better!

LOCATION… GLH is located in central Missouri 12 miles North of Jefferson City. This site is within 100 miles of both the geographical and population centers of the U.S. And even more important, our location provides us with access to the abundant Missouri Oak forests.
